Kim Yo Jong, Department Director of C.C., WPK, on Strategic Weapon Launching Drill
Pyongyang, October 3 (KCNA) -- At dawn of this morning, a drill of firing a strategic weapon toward the East Sea of Korea was conducted.
An intermediate-range strategic missile was used for the drill.
The head of state personally oversaw the drill of a firepower sub-unit undertaking an exclusive special mission.
The joint chiefs of staff of the ROK, which tracked our drill, announced that the missile flew more than 700 km, while the Japan defence ministry termed the range 680 km.
They are interesting numbers.
We have already witnessed similar announcements four times and, finally, we came to the conclusion that the superiority of the special flight mode applied to the missiles in our possession has been verified in practice.
Of course, we should neither believe the enemy's tracking results nor satisfy ourselves of them, but such figures help take a look at the limitations of the enemy's tracking capability and the special features of our missiles.
Whenever we applied the wave-like trajectory mode to missiles, the enemy failed to track the targets from their first skip points.
Extension of the trajectory at the downward stage gives the numbers quite similar to the numbers of the ranges announced by the enemy.
The enemy always made such a lame excuse that there is a limit to the detection capability because of the curvature of the earth's surface, but in fact this just serves as a proof of our perfect missile capability and the most scientific "evaluation index" confirming the power and reliability of our weapon system.
They should acknowledge the speed of the missile.
And they would be well advised to recollect our announcements that it is capable of changing its flight orbit at a low altitude and AI was introduced into it.
In other words, this means that there is no way to avoid this attack.
Representatives of the Missile Administration reported to the head of state that it is possible to set at least four flight orbit modes according to a purpose and target with the technology recently introduced.
The head of state expressed the belief that any country in the world could not have access to such technology for at least several years. -0-
